Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), a four-year program affiliated to Purbanchal University; delivered by Gateway College of Professional Studies.

Program Objective
The course designed by the expert team of professional having long industry exposure provides the required learning to produce professional work force for the fastest growing industry worldwide.

Upon completion of the course from gateway college, the students will be able to take up employment in hospitality industry as well as other industries requiring hospitality as the key to success in business or be able to pursue further study in hospitality management in the country or abroad.

Eligibility for Admission
Candidate should have completed schooling (10+2) / intermediate / or equivalent in any stream from recognized board or university with proficiency in English are eligible to join Bachelor of Hotel Management in Gateway College.

(Those students having less proficiency in English in the opinion of college management requires to take additional English lesson provided by the college)

Upon inteding to join BHM at Gateway College, Candidate will have to sit for written entrance exam as per university rule and appear an interview as well as group discussion.

Internal assessment - Through series of internal exams, regular assignments, in house events and competitions.

Internship of One Year

Eligible students with proven track record can get paid internship abroad. The college has partnered with many chain & independent hotels in Malaysia, China, France, UK, Germany, India & Nepal for the internship. There is provision of one year internship in 7th & 8th Semesters.

What is the admission procedure for BHM in Gateway College?

Step 1:  Any prospective students should fill up an application form and submit it to the college reception & take the entrance date.

Step 2:  Sit for the entrance examination.

Step 3:  After the entrance examination result, receive admission offer with the admission deadline.

Step 4:  Pay the admission amount with all above mentioned documents required for University Registration. In any case of not having the complete documents in hand, you still can take the admission, but it would be your responsibility to furnish it before University Registration deadline.

Step 5:  Pay the College Uniform, Practical Dress & Practical Kit fees. Give Uniform measurements to the prescribed Tailoring Center.

Step 6:   Attend Orientation session and then join College from the specified date.

Scholarship

The college provides merit based scholarship to those students whose results are excellent as per the university grading system.
